Veterinary Technician

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary Technician, 1 year (Required)

We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician. Applicant must have experience assisting in exam room appts and with surgery. Skill set should include taking histories, drawing blood, running lab work, TPR, surgery prep, iv catheter placement and monitoring, performing dentals, and taking x-rays. We are looking for someone who is a team player, highly organized, dependable and able to multi-task. Must have a positive attitude, show initiative, and possesses excellent communication skills, with a true desire to enrich the lives of our clients and their pets. Green Mountain Veterinary Hospital in Manchester Center, VT with a satellite hospital in South Londonderry seeks FT Veterinarian. Will consider experienced and recent graduates and doctors seeking PT. We support doctors who want to develop a special interest. We offer work-life balance, a positive culture, pleasant work environment, and a professional team that provides compassionate, quality traditional as well as chiropractic patient care with state-of-the-art equipment and a new surgical suite. We are a solar powered facility.

Starting salary between $100,000 and $150,000 based on experience. Signing bonus of $5,000 and employer will assist with relocation fees. Benefits include 401K, CE, paid membership dues to AVMA, VVMA, VIN, vacation and sick leave. Kennel & Veterinary Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Animal care, 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience working with animals in a veterinary hospital or kennel setting desired, but not required.

All aspects of animal care including walking, feeding, bathing and providing lots of TLC! Cleaning and maintaining kennels, cages, floors, dishes, surgery instruments, running errands, restocking, and assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed. Admitting and discharging pets for boarding and interacting with clients and collecting pertinent information for their pets' stay. Must be reliable, hard working, responsible, work well as part of a team, and have a desire to enrich the lives of our clients and their pets.
